"Remo Salvadori. Né da né verso"

A "continuous infinite present" process
To feel beauty, to embrace it, to enjoy its presence as when walking in a garden, as when walking near the sea. If matter is in itself luminous, the work of that material luminosity foreshadows and already enjoys the numinous immaterial matrix.
In the vortex of the continuous infinte present the external is internal and vice versa, beginning and end cannot be distinguished, time and space do not unfold linearly. The creative process progresses from technical knowledge to spiritual ecstasy, from making to imagining, from manipulating to transfiguring. By simplifying action, I find myself in parallel with earthly and cosmic nature; I connect to the whole, recognize myself in unity without suffering deprivation. Getting rid of all romanticism (gestures, attitudes, obsessions), something remains of romantic philosophy and poetry (Goethe, Novalis, up to Rilke): the power of desire without nostalgia, the certainty of harmony and connection between man and nature, body and elements, self and cosmos, the approach to the invisible and the infinite. Continuo infinito presente is a rose is a rose is a rose. But it retains every scent of the flower. Like every flower, it is unique and unrepeatable in the instant of its blooming.
