“Minimalia. Da Giacomo Balla a…"

An Italian line of the 20th century
From the historical Avantgardes to the Neo-avantgarde, from Futurism to Arte Povera, from Metaphysics to the Trans-avantgarde, it is possible to find a Mediterranean and cosmopolitan line of Italian art capable of representing modernity but without flattening itself on northern European and American models. [...] 'Minimalia' is therefore an exhibition that highlights an original and at the same time universal line of Italian art, starting with Futurism and arriving at the young artists of today [...] 'Minimalia' is an exhibition on contemporary artistic research in Italy, in particular on that line that has unravelled from the post-war period to the present day, often arriving ahead of many international events.
