Dissolve weight and matter
"A dynamism of approach stands out in a series of works that aspire to exalt the insubstantiality of the true substance permeating life from within, in order to dissolve their weight and matter, as in Verticale, 1991 (1997), where the contrast between the solid of the copper and the void of the glasses is transformed into a manifold aquarium—a crystallization in which the non-solid and luminous float on the surface. It is a hardening of the transparency which, as supported by the loving relationship with the copper, expresses the labour of an attempt to transform art into an inner passion. Something distillate accumulates before the viewer's eyes: the document of an effort to span all possible substances, in order to enable an exchange and transmission of energy between them."
