Unity of the singularity
"Approaching Nel momento means entering into a process where the artist has acted on a sheet of matter, lead, in an interval of time, linked to his life, following an idea, an imagination that however participates in a philosophical and visual discourse, based on a profound theory of art and aesthetics. Salvadori's entry into this territory takes place through the existence of 111 elements, a number that is not random, because it is made up of and multiple of other numbers, with a high symbolic meaning. 111 springs from the alignment three times of the number 1. It thus evokes the summation of unity, as much as it recalls the number 3, a sign of perfection and balance. . . . Its components are part of a whole, but remain unique. Each figure that leads to the formation of the final arabesque is essentially an autonomous and exclusive whole, while participating in the multiplicity that creates the whole. Each unit is made of lead sheet so that its existence is linked to writing or to the manual exercise of writing and practising on the surface: art therefore as a document of making and communicating."
